Protests have taken place throughout Australia on the Nationwide Day of Mourning for the Queen’s demise, with hundreds calling for an finish to the monarchy.

First Nations girl Sarabi Gristwood informed 9News in Sydney: “We have been asking for a day of mourning since they made January 26 so-called Australia Day. However eight hours after the Queen’s demise, they will make this present day a day of mourning.”
